Draka Mobile Network Cable Division investing in its China
factory
Draka MNC
has decided to invest to increase the capacity of its factory in Wuhan,
China. There is an increasing need for investment in Asian mobile
network infrastructure and Draka MNC sees the opportunity to utilise the
growth. "This new investment supports the global strategy of the
division and strengthens Draka's ability to serve its Asian mobile
operator customers and global OEMs better." says the Division President
Mr. Mika Höijer. The new capacity will be
available during the last quarter 2007.
Mobile Network Cable is joining the Draka brand
The brand name of MNC's cables and jumpers is changed in October 2006. The new
Draka marking has been changed on cable drums, cables, packaging materials and
support materials.
The product codes will remain the same as before. The new name, Draka, does not
affect Mobile Network Cable's products technically. The production of well known
top quality cables continues!
